How I Cured My Lyme Disease
Lyme disease is caused by the bacterium Borrelia burgdorferi is transmitted to humans through the bite of infected black-legged ticks. The symptoms of Lyme disease can range from mild to severe if left untreated can result in debilitating complications. I was diagnosed with Lyme disease after experiencing symptoms like fatigue joint pain flu-like symptoms. After several months of treatments I finally found a method that worked for me.
Conventional Medicine Treatments
The traditional treatment for Lyme disease is a course of antibiotics usually lasting several weeks. However after taking antibiotics for two months my symptoms remained the same. My physician recommended a longer course of antibiotics or stronger ones but I didn’t feel comfortable with the idea of taking too many antibiotics.
I then decided to try natural remedies alternative medicine. I consulted a naturopathic doctor who prescribed me different supplements herbs that supported my immune system had antibacterial properties. I also used a Far Infrared Heat Therapy (FIR) mat which helped relieve my pain improve my overall health. FIR therapy uses infrared heat to penetrate the tissues help the body eliminate toxins infections. I found this therapy extremely useful effective.
Diet Lifestyle changes
In addition to alternative medicine I also made significant changes to my diet lifestyle. I eliminated sugar processed food gluten from my diet incorporated more fresh fruits vegetables lean protein. I also started to exercise regularly focusing on low-impact activities such as yoga swimming. I found that making these changes along with alternative medicine helped me feel better heal faster.
Lyme disease is a complex challenging illness. While conventional treatments like antibiotics can be effective for some it’s not always the case. Alternative medicine combined with healthy lifestyle changes can provide additional support for those struggling with Lyme disease. After changing my approach making these changes I can proudly say that I am now free of Lyme disease. I encourage others to explore alternative therapies lifestyle changes in conjunction with medical treatment to find what works best for them.
