Multiple Sclerosis Diagnosis
In August 2021 Christina Applegate revealed that she has been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS) a chronic autoimmune disease that affects the central nervous system. MS can cause a range of symptoms including muscle weakness numbness tingling in the limbs vision problems fatigue. The disease can also lead to cognitive impairment depression anxiety.
Following her MS diagnosis Christina Applegate announced that she will be retiring from acting. In a statement she said “It’s been a tough road. But as we all know the road keeps going.
